Accenture Federal Services Appoints Dr. Jennifer Sample as Head of Applied Intelligence Practice Growth and Strategy

Dr. Jennifer Sample, who joined Federal Services AccentureThe Applied Intelligence team earlier this year as AIX Company Leader for Applied and Basic Research, was promoted to the team Head of Growth and Strategy.

In his new role, Dr. Sample will leverage technology, scientific methods and data to help clients adopt and implement AI and ML products and services at scale.

“Dr. Sample is an exceptional addition to our team and will contribute to the overall growth of our applied intelligence practice,” said Brian rich, Managing Director and Head of AFS Applied Intelligence Practice.

Rich added, “Dr. Sample’s expertise will be a force multiplier in driving the co-evolving spiral of technology, data and science, merging advances in AI and ML.

Dr. Sample brings more than two decades of well-recognized scientific leadership to his new role at AFS. In addition, she holds ten patents and several awards for her scientific research and inventions.

Prior to joining AFS, Dr Sample spent 19 years as a Federal Scientist and Principal in the Research and Development Department of the Applied Physics Laboratory at Johns Hopkins University, where she created and oversaw the Emerging, Quantum Technologies programs. and intelligent university systems.

The new head of growth and strategy received her MBA from MIT, her doctorate in physical chemistry from the University of California at Los Angeles and her bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Pennsylvania State University.

Dr Sample said she was passionate about her new role and eager to solve federal government customer issues while “driving speed to value with minimal technical debt.”
