Drew Sample fantasy football, DFS tips: What to do with TE Bengals in Super Bowl 56

Super Bowl 56 awaits you live on Sunday, February 13 as the Los Angeles Rams take the Cincinnati Bengals. Kickoff from SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, Calif., is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. ET and the game will air on NBC. Don’t let it get lost in the Super Bowl Sunday shuffle and don’t forget to set your DFS lineup! Here we discuss Bengals quarterback Drew Sample.

Fantasy Football Analysis: Bengals TE Drew Sample, $6,300/$4,200

Sample had some hope as CJ Uzomah struggled with a knee injury. Although it looks like Uzomah may have torn a knee ligament off the bat, the injury apparently wasn’t that serious. Uzomah was restricted to training all week but was able to be a full participant on Friday.

For Sample, if Uzomah does not suffer any setbacks and is able to play the game on Sunday, Sample will be relegated to the bench or as a blocker. If Uzomah is unable to get going or tweak something before the game, Sample will get a slight usage boost. With teammates like Joe Mixon, Ja’Marr Chase, Tee Higgins and Tyler Boyd, it’s hard to be relevant with anything other than a touchdown.

Fantastic start/sit recommendation

SAmple would be a dart-throwing prayer for your lineup, as you’d be crossing your fingers for a random hit. With the other mouths to feed off the attack, I don’t think he enters the end zone whether Uzomah is active or not. Look elsewhere.
