M&S has launched its Goodmove leisurewear line on sportswear site The Sports Edit, which features more than 50 brands.

Goodmove, which is M&S’s largest womenswear brand selling leggings and sports bras, was launched in 2020 and sells 1.6 million items each year.

His bestsellers will now be available on The Sports Edit, which offers Adidas and Nike sportswear.

This is the first time that M&S ​​clothing has been sold through a third-party website.

The retailer said it aims to expand its online offering.

The new strategy saw it roll out 40 guest brands, including Fat Face and Joules on M&S.com.

The Sports Edit has been identified as a well-positioned complementary e-commerce platform in the growing sportswear market due to its highly engaged customer base.

With the sportswear market now worth nearly £900m after growing 35% over the past two years, M&S continues to strategically focus on sportswear.

“In the space of two years, we have made Goodmove a market leader in women’s sportswear, leveraging our authority in sports bras combined with our expertise in wearable innovation” , said Richard Price, managing director of M&S, clothing and home.
