New and Improved Website for Huron County Libraries

HURON COUNTY – Huron County library services are easier to access with a new and improved website.

A January 17 press release described the website as “a fresh look that fully reflects the vibrant community spaces patrons find at the library’s 12 branches located across Huron County.”

Beth Rumble, Director of Cultural Services and County Librarian, said, We are thrilled to launch the new Huron County Library online site. The new and improved site will help us better connect and engage with the community, while making it easier for visitors to find and access everything the library has to offer.

Key highlights of the new website include what library officials call a seamless online browsing experience between the website and the latest online catalog with improved navigation for easier access to branches, services and library collections, from any device, including your mobile phone.

The new site will have an online events calendar to quickly find upcoming programs and events and a new blog written by library staff on various topics to better inform patrons.

The press release states that the site is an accessible, welcoming and inclusive platform for all visitors to the site.

The new site also makes it easier to ask questions and leave comments via the new online contact form. Huron County Library welcomes feedback as staff work to improve the online library experience.
